I stumbled upon this book in the university library and thought it would be perfect for researching sexism in the journalism field. It had a sports journalism section which described reinforced stereotypes and abuses women faced in the field, especially in a field that is perceived as masculine, such as sports. The main flaws have been known to me from other readings I did. However, there were some insights that I read in this book for the first time. For example, how men used sexualisation of women as a way to keep women out of the locker rooms for the interviews, which kept the topic primarily covered by men. Also, a quote that I took out of that chapter will be used in one of the articles about Jutta Leerdam, who is represented as Jake Paul's fiancée.
